Author - David T. ScottDave Scott has been a frustrated marketing executive for years. Having faced the lead-generation problem while serving as vice president of marketing for a number of businesses, he quickly became an expert. While touring the country speaking on lead generation, Dave quickly realized that every company has the same problem. This is he wrote this book

Prior to launching Marketfish – a lead gen services business – Dave was the chief marketing officer for a local Seattle startup. Dave has also served as vice president of global marketing and strategy at Intermec, Inc. (NYSE:IN), and vice president of marketing and strategy for the global services division of PeopleSoft, Inc. (acquired by Oracle [NASDAQ:ORCL]). His management pedigree also includes AT&T Wireless, Boston Consulting Group and General Electric. He earned dual bachelor degrees in computer science and political philosophy from The College of William and Mary, and earned his MBA at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with distinction. Dave sits on the boards of Goodwill and Powerful Schools and is a member of Rotary International. He is an avid sailor, scuba diver and nationally ranked board game champion. Dave is also the recipient of the CMO Council’s “CMO of the Year” award in 2004 and Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 Under 40″ award in 2007.
